So, in an actual tournament game, you expect your opponent to give you his
evaluation of a position? :-)

Try "Thematic Sounds". Depending on which piece set you are using (e.g.
Staunton), you might get a nice simple piece movement sound.

This was a very tough decision, because there are NO colors (other than ones
like "gaudy yellow") that are visible and yet not....gaudy. We MIGHT make a
small change to it in a patch if enough people comment on it.

Try going here, www.tim-mann.org/extensions.html. Apparently there is a driver
for the DGT board to make it act like a winboard engine. I am pretty sure that
I've heard from a few people that it works fine in CM.

Additionally, as Sarah suggested, winboard232 also appears to work well.
