The rules are that upgrade are allowed only in the next tournament.
You can look in the games to find if there is some strange mistakes.

Chezzz beated movei 3-1 in the tournament.

I am not sure but I think that the losing mistake of chezzz in the only game
that it lost was Nc4 when Nd5 is needed

After Nc4 I could teach yace by going backward in the game moves the following
line

24.Bc7xa5 Nc4xa5 25.Qb3-c3 b7-b6 26.b2-b4 Na5-b7 27.c5xb6 a7xb6 28.d4-d5 c6xd5
29.Nf3-d4 Nb7-d6 30.Qc3-c6 Nd6-e8 31.Nd4xe6 Re2xe6 32.Qc6-d7 f6-f5 33.Rc1-c8
Qa6-e2 34.g4xf5
  +- (1.45) Depth: 14 00:00:53 20343kN

Before Nc4 yace gave the following line:

23...Nb6-d5 24.Bc7xa5 Qa6xa5 25.Qb3xb7 g6-g5 26.Rc1-d1 Nd5-f4 27.h3-h4 Qa5xa4
28.Rd1-e1
  ² (0.41) Depth: 14 00:11:24 229461kN

Here is the relevant position:

[D]6k1/ppB2pp1/qnp1rpp1/b1P5/P2P2P1/1Q3N1P/1P2rP2/2R2RK1 b - - 0 22 bm Nd5
