I did not say that it worth 0 elo and I did not mention only book. I still believe that book is not important relatively to other things. I do not say that it is impossible to do an engine that is better than other engines with no book and no pondering but list is not clearly better than other engines with book and based on the tournament of Kurt unzicker even an old commercial program(Junior5) scores better than it. Today I find that the main problems of movei in the 3th division is the endgame and not book and I used only a very small manual book. You can download the games of the 3th division in http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/ by clicking on 3th division. Uri
