Sounds like you're trying to access Chess.net.  Go into the Preferences in
Netscape, and make sure you have Java enabled.  If not, that is your problem.
If it says it is enabled, you may have to go up to Netscape Communicator to get
it to run with any reliability.

Also, bear in mind that the applet "Test" is just that, a test version, as they
are still working the bugs out of it.

Now if FICS.onenet.net would just go Java....
