If it reboots it you can get a crash dump file and figure out what is going on by loading it in a debugger. If it totally hangs but does not crash the only way to tell what's up is by attaching a kernel debugger with another machine and a null-modem cable. In general be suspicious of any driver you recently installed on the machine. Especially if it's a new video driver (since they are notoriously bad and since this is a problem that seems to happen when rendering a page). The only way I know to totally lock up the machine (no processes scheduled, no response to ctl-alt-del, totally hung) is to go into an infinite loop with the processor IRQL raised. Even deadlocked machines _usually_ respond to events like mouse moves and ctl-alt-del. Good luck, Scott
