All available ones are pawnless. IIRC, the only game of Yace I have seen, with a
non trivial pawnless 6-men position was KRBKBN. Yace lost this. It was
interesting nevertheless. When I looked up the positions of the game online (Ken
Thompson's TBs) it was allways a "winning" pos for the stronger side. But, if
you consider 50 moves rule, it wasn't. When the position arose on the board, it
was a distance to conversion of less than 50 moves. Later in the game, it would
have been draw, due to 50 moves rule. I think, this is one is unfortunately not
available in Nalimov format. When I last checked, the statists file (.tbs) for
this was available from Robert Hyatt's ftp, but the real TB wasn't. So,
obviously somebody (probably Eugene Nalimov) created this already.

For "practical" games, from the available 6-men TBs, there is probably not a
single one a "must have".

Dieter
