It is possible that your CD #2 is damaged in the area where that file is located. If you can try it on a third CD drive and it still fails, you have three options: 1) Contact Ubi Soft Customer Support by going to support.ubi.com and ask for a replacement CD. 2) Wait for the EGDB generator to be released and rebuild that file from scratch. 3) Try reinstalling (you won't need to uninstall) the whole program with the Complete installation option. jm
