Otherwise if the computer wins, people will say "ah but the computer is so much faster than mine". If the fast computer loses, you have to wait many months for a significant speed improvement. Having said that, I would put a few dollars on a P4 2.0GHz being used. Because it is current and not out of reach for most buyers.
