I think the average computer of your users might be around that level, so it
would be a natural computer to use. Otherwise if the computer wins, people will
say "ah but the computer is so much faster than mine". If the fast computer
loses, you have to wait many months for a significant speed improvement.
Having said that, I would put a few dollars on a P4 2.0GHz being used. Because
it is current and not out of reach for most buyers.
