One has to be careful about that one though. There are times when the bishop is
only temporarily closed in, in which case, taking on a7 could be 100% correct.
In most cases this involves a timely a4-a5, but I remember a remarkable
exception in a GM game where Korchnoi took a pawn on a7 much to the shock of his
opponent. It turned out that the old lion had seen deeper and clearer and ended
up winning because of the material. I'll look it up in a bit if my connection
holds. My Internet has been giving me hell lately.
