"Control Panel -> Display Properties -> Settings Tab" (especially the "Advanced" button). 2. Run "System Information" (which is probably under your "Accessories/System Tools" group), and then go to "Tools -> DirectX Diagnostic Tool". These should tell you everything you need to know. jm
