The only winning move for the following position is 1.Rb1 and it takes CM9000 default personality 9 min 51 sec on my AMD 1800+ computer to find it. It gives a score of 2.95. I changed the settings for Chessmaster Attacker/Defender 55 Material/Positional 25 Selective Search 7 Hash Tables 64 It takes CM_Billygoat (for lack of any other name) 2 min 3 sec to find it with a score of .99 My question is why the score of .99 CM8000 found it with a Selective Search of 6 in 3 min 7 sec but the score was 3.45.
