Here is a philosophical response:

This is merely an isolated case which, oddly, represents the ICC finger notes of
quite a few people.  Each has his or her own wierd quirks.  And some are really
wierd!  Quotable quote:  "Computers and chess can bring out the worst in

If you will randomly start looking at finger notes at ICC, you will see some
really strange notes.  How to explain such notes?  One can usually only rely on
blind speculation as to the reasons [if any] behind the notes.  Maybe the person
writing the notes is joking?  [Putting us on?]  [Pulling someone's leg?]

In fact, I have done such a random search and occasionally hit on some real
belly-laughers.  But it was tedious.

Maybe "computer chess types" are all kinda wierd in their own ways.  Everybody
except me, that is. : )  We usually are not aware of our own failings.
