John, unless Chessmaster has the features that Fritz has in the analysis suite ( Full Analysis ,blunder check, compare analysis , deep position analysis and shootout) it will never be better!!! I know just what you're going to say: we have similar features that do the same thing. Bull, Chessmaster's idea of analysis is telling you what is going on in a game, i.e. bishop blocks the check (what a joke), instead of telling you what you did wrong with an alternative line of play, automatically computing the line in the notation window with the option of playing through it. CM does have a nice feature with audio advice, but give me a break, should I do this for every move of the game if I want an alternative line for every move? Moreover with audio advice you don't have the option of getting the new line of play in the notation window to save and scroll though it, unless you do it manually. CM might be the most popular program but it will never be the most popular program with serious club players unless these features are offered like they are in Fritz! However, if CM had these features I would be sold, but until then I will stick with Fritz! CMs idea of making a program better is putting in more tutorials and this won't cut it. If Ubisoft is really interested in making a better program for 10,000 I would take these ideas to the drawing board. Or, you can put in another 50 min of Josh and call it a new program (what a joke).
