When I installed CM9000, I opted for the complete installation. According to the manual, this is all I need to do for CM to make use of the de Konig tablebases (which are indeed installed under "My Documents" in a folder structure called "Chessmaster 9000\EGDB". In the Game Room, I set up a position with white K on e1, white Bishop on f1, and white Knight on g1. I put Black's King on e8. I then opened up "Mentor Lines" and no immediate mate announcement is made. I can find no info about a CM9000.ini file in the manual (or something similar) which might be editable to specify the location of the tablebases ... I'm confident this is easily corrected -- but I did not see any posts here by others indicating they have the same problem. Thanks in advance for any help, Roy
