CM8000 and CM9000 uses different functions for generating the OPK number, so
trying to run the CM8000 version of The King using the OPK number that CM9000
generates will not work.

The CM8000 GUI is required to use the CM8000 engine, and the CM9000 GUI is
required to use the CM9000 engine.
