It just does a simple analysis of the position using the engine. If you want to see the data from the tablebases, either set up the position with Chessmaster to play both sides (at which point the game will be played out very quickly), or just open the "Coach" window (CTRL+C), and you will see a list of all legal moves, and their tablebase values. jm
