When Chessmaster 8000 first came out there were quite a few posts on it but after a period of time they tapered off as it seems to be the case with any new version of chess software. I'm sure the same will be true with CM9000. The question is in CM8000 there was a problem with two engines running at the same time slowing down each other and hurting the playing strength. Even the SSDF team was confused about the settings and had to restart their testing because of this. I don't remember the details but when running a tournament between two personalities with the thinking lines open in CM9000 I notice that both engines are analyzing at the same time. Any possibility one engine could be using the CPU slowing the other engine down? Sorry if it is a dumb question.
