However I would expect the average overclock for a 2600+ would be between 2.3 and 2.4ghz. That particular chip was hand-picked. :) Perhaps sometime in the future places like atacom and newegg will sell those types of chips (good stepping/week), but they'll cost a little bit more. Thats what I did with my old Tbird 1GHz, it was an AXIA-9 that set me back about $200.. (I think the normal chip price at the time was around $170) but it did 1.7GHz w/ liquid @ 2.2v (1.5ghz w/ air @ 1.85v):)
