If the PR value of beating Kasparov is really worth 2BUS$ (and I don't doubt it) what is Intel waiting to get in touch with some top professional chess programmer, hiring a couple of grandmasters, and creating with their help the next Deep Blue using superfast hardware? If I was a top chess programmer I would be already talking with Intel, Sun, or any other chip company.
