But you're correct, I found out how to beat CM8K in such fast time controls. I'm not a GM:o) However, I've been lazy, as there are many ways to snag computers if you practise enough to find where they can be beaten, i.e. certain endings and of course well executed King assaults, however this is proving much more difficult these days as the programmes play better in endgames and endings and can fight like hell to protect the King. One mistake and it's all over...sigh. Terry
