Most of the modifications involved the GM personalities. When GM Larry Evans
created the new GM personalities for us (Chigorin, Ivanchuk, Kashdan, Kramnik,
Leko, Najdorf, Paulsen, Tartakower and Zukertort), he also was consulted on the
older ones, and we made some adjustments. We also made a few adjustments to the
Alekhine, Capablanca and Morphy personalities with the 1.0.1 patch.

As for the "human" personalities, we really made no adjustments to the
PERSONALITIES at all. But we DID mix things up a bit by exchanging personality
settings with faces. In other words, Slick used to be rated very highly, but is
now a mid-range opponent. Instead of creating a new mid-range Slick personality,
we just swapped faces with a different personality.

If the personalities are actually playing more according to their levels, then I
would say it is most likely a function of the new engine.
