Subject: WinCrafty & Winboard installation problems

The instructions to making Crafty work I found by searching the internet do not
help me much though I am using them. I simply want an openings book, tablebases,
and to run through a GUI.
I have joined .pgn files together and built a book out of it.
I have copied downloaded .emd to tb folder and .tbs to tbs folder. But I am not
sure if WCrafty-18.7 uses them automatically or not. Hyatt says 4 man set takes
260mb, yet the download is 29.5mb. I cannot run the tbexe files; they seem to
require an inline command I cannot find details on. I am using a very basic
crafty.rc with no mention of tablebases in it. I cannot test a position in
winboard because-
I follow the instructions precisely in Winboard 4.2.3 help, to write the crafty
address in winboard.ini but it always claims it cannot find my Crafty
executable. Which is very odd because I have given it the correct address and it
is in the same directory as Winboard...
