Would you mind pointing us all to where he volunteered to do this? I have
inquired with several people (including Dann) and only Robert Hyatt replied back
to me. I think the problem is getting a new protocol (winboard or not, doesn't
matter) is the problem. Most people (including myself) don't have enough
experience with this subject to make educated decisions about what features to
include in a protocol. If a new protocol was drafted, I think you would find
that there would be many people willing to code implementations of it. But, we
have no protocol, so until then...
