The problem with the "." doesn't occur on all systems. I have no idea why.

It did not get exactly what you mean. I suggest to place _all_ TB files (*.emd,
*.tbs) in _one_ folder (<yourpath>\winboard\tb). The *.tbs aren't necessary but
contain some information which is possibly interesting for you.

If you place all TBs  in one folder _only_ I guess you wouldn't get a message
they are found twice.
