1.how many games did you play fritz versus rebel XP ? 2.do you have rebel XP ? 3.do you have fritz7 ? 4.how strong do you believe is rebel XP in default style ? any ideas ? you are talking about science, monod, believes and and and. but this is not a religion. this is about games. and the results show the strength and the games show the why. 5.how many games do you play ? 1 ? 2 ? i am tuning rebel for a long time by now. i started with century4 and invented the macheide style. later when ed made XP i had to adapt this style because XP played different than century4. 6.how many games did you play with them ? 7. you talk in your general philosophical nihilistic way, as if you have ANY idea, ANY game material yourself, and program, any data to talk about it. when in fact you have nothing, or ? 8. you talk about control when in fact you come with no data. where is your data ? if you know something better, you could come with data. but you have no data. and instead you talk about people. and you speculate about what others do. get alive. do something yourself instead of talking about others who do something. that is ACTION instead of nihilistic philosophy about the could and would and maybe. stop talking as a consumer. become alive. it makes no sense to talk to people who have no idea about a topic. who made no experience. If you want to discuss about war , the question is: have you been at the army ? if you want to talk about politics, the question is: what are you doing in politics. i mean: doing - not talking from the living room chair. you say that i made a mistake. but how do you know. where is your evidence ? where are your games. where is your style. where is anything. you seem to me like a construct of a theoretical person, that is not living but commenting instead. maybe you are a computer program like eliza. eliza never said something really. it only shuffled the words in different order. if you come with a point, contribute something, than we can discuss. but as long as you try to say something critical without saying anything... it remains nothing. i have no idea how you want to do computerchess without doing computerchess. maybe you should write a book. later. when we are all dead. but talk with those who DO computerchess ? that seems to be something different IMO. what do you want to talk about with no similar, no shared experience ? its all hear said. its all guessing. its all: bla bla bla. hot air. and no results. and the lack of your own data, leads you to the hobby to comment in the way you do. computerchessophilia is your hobby! but not computerchess.
