I also think "cm_parm default" should cover the default personality, but if creating an .eng file for custom personalities, probably these new parameters should be included. I see that selective search for the default personality has changed from sel=6 to sel=9 since CM8000. I don't understand what effect having a different positional setting for the "opponents" parameters would have. I can't find anything in the documentation about this. Regards Dave
