As another example, all Sjeng development is done on Linux. I distribute Windows versions because if I don't make a Windows version available, I get zillions of requests (well, maybe a bit less). I have had *one* complaint that I no longer make Linux versions available. ChessMaster is another example. The chess engine is (I believe) developed on DOS as well. -- GCP
