BTW, Comet supports analysis mode.
Possibly, this information must be made available to ChessPartner via a
configuration file ?

Yes, you're right.
Winboard's engine-inf.html says it is permissible to always ignore this command
and Comet does so.
I'll probably support the '?' command with the next version; it's easy enough.
