Even if I have installed a lot of different hardware like a new processor, new memory, different video cards and a lot of software of various quality. I have hung programs several times and XP has just stopped the aplication without any fuss. Thats quite another story than at my work where my PC still has that bad old Win 98 running. My feeling is that XP is as stable, (or better) as any other OS out there. The only bad side I see is that I have had to pay for it! Torstein The happy "virus" user
