Thank you for the reply Terry!
Perhaps you can answer this question for me.
What is the Fritz 7 Update for now that Deep-Fritz 7 is out?
Is it for the Fritz 7 program (interface and or engine) or is it for the
Deep-Fritz 7 program (interface and or engine)?
The last 3 or 4 Fritz 7 upgrades only seemed to be for the interface.
Early on when Fritz 7 came out there were many engine versions from Fritz 7
upgrades.
When Fritz 6 came out there were a number of Fritz 6 upgrades ( Fritz 6e) and
others, but I never saw ONE for the Deep-Fritz program, ever.
Will Fritz 7 upgrades effect the Deep-Fritz engines.
I know it will effect the interface as the DATE in the help menu will reflect
this.
As an experiment months ago, I put the Fritz 6 upgrade over the Fritz 7 program
and it change the date to that of Fritz 6.
My main concern is the playing engines.
As I said above, I never saw a Deep-Fritz upgrade since DF has been on the
market for purchase even though there were numerous ones for F6.
Now there have been numerous ones for Fritz 7, and I wonder if there will ever
be any for the Deep-Fritz 7 program and engines.
I look forward to all replies.
Thanks again Terry
Regards
Brian
