Deep Fritz 7 was released a couple of weeks ago and is strong (see discussion below) There is no newer version of Junior. there is no newer Version of Nimzo (and won't be) the new Shredder 6.02 (Paderborn) is quite stronger than the previous version (58 Elo-Points acording to SSDF). Also good programs are Chessmaster 9000, Rebel XP and Hiarcs 8.
