That "crashing" sound is very annoying and i think that the sound must have been off when CM9 was being tested. :) In Windows, it's possible to change the sounds in Control Panel\Sounds and Multimedia. Just scroll down till you see the .wav settings for Chessmaster 9000. Regards Dave
