I can only tell for ChessPartner. example:

On PC "Ernie" select <Network> and un-check the Master checkbox.
On PC "Bert" select <Network> and check the Master checkbox, int the
remote computer name field just fill in "Ernie"
Fill in the rest of the parameters as needed, then first start the slave
then the master.
