Hi James,
Here are the numbers for a current development version of Green Light (2.18dc),
on my AXP 1700+, 24MB Hash.
All the percentages are expressed relative to the number of probes, and the
internal nodes in the tree always probe, so this is also relative to the number
of internal nodes. The quiescence search does not probe.
hits is number of hash key matches.
draft is number where the depth is OK to use for cut offs.
tcuts: gives stats about cuts offs due to hash records...
exact is due to an exact value
upper is a fail high due to a fail high value in the hash table
lower is a fail low due to a fail low value in the hash table
tstor: gives stats about what is being stored in the hash table.
