Try to wait with the last 'Click on ok button' (pt.5) on CP5.2 until you are
ready to to click on the ok button in pt.6 (Fritz), Then click first ok in CP
and then in Fritz with short time between (5 sec).

Also restart the program on each failed try to avoid conflict. At least Fritz
did run some background tasks for the auto232 connection that have to be stoped
before next try.

Was both Master here?

I didn't try Fritz as Slave because it apparently expected the master to be
running allready to procced.

Did you try to connect Shredder Classic to CP? Do this work?

Shredder: extended and fast
CP: extended

My machines was Fritz on NT4 and CP on Win2000
and only tcp protocol installed on each pc.

When I tried Shredder-Fritz I had to remove the mark on extended to get the
right moves, mybe this is true for CP-Fritz when CP is master too.

I can test abit more later today to check this up.

If you run comp-comp matches between wb-engines you should also try the Lokasoft
client/server protocol instead of auto232. It is very easy to set up and I
didn't find any trouble whatsoever.

With the auto232 protocol you will see that the clock isn't in sync but if you
use the latest Fritz uppgrade (06.sep.02), the game will proceed and the result
will be reported correct.
There was some report of problem with earlier Fritz version here a few days ago.
