Hi Kurt,
just 2 important points:

1) not everybody is ready or able to update the OPK number of CM daily.
   Impossible if your tournament is to run for days while you are not around.

2) many people run tournaments with time control (a/b' + c/d' + e') as in Fritz7
GUI. Impossible with wb2uci.
