Your is probably good in mates and I guess that a lot of engines have big
problems with it

Do you do special extension except check extensions?

Note that Movei disable extensions when the side in check has a big material
disadvantage and it does not help it to find the line because positions when
black is in check or black has only one reply do not get extended.
