I will always remember how excited we were in 1979 in my college chess club
(northern Quebec) when we received the Fidelity chess challenger 10....until we
discovered how dumb it was!but from that moment and for a couple of years i was
hooked on chess computers. i even spended a small fortune to owned the Fidelity
prestige!(remember that one?).Then i met my wife, had 2 (marvelous) kids so
chess took the backseat for more than a decade!now i'm back!

An old friend of mine told me that 9 times out of 10 nowdays the k6 or k6-2 was
better at crunching chess positions than the pentium-2 (at the same processor
speed). i'm asking you the experts cause i saw a k6-2 333mgzs for a very good
price!so is that true?

thanks for answering!!!
