PalmOpenChess has snuck in very quietly, and is currently at beta 1. It's based
on GnuChess 2.0:

Obviously it's a bit rough and ready, but it's by no means stupid (in the
limited number of games so far it comes across as far superior to PocketChess
2.5, for example) and has one great advance over any other PalmOS program: a
Hi-Res version for Sony Clies. It's also under the GPL.
