I'm not a lawyer and so am unqualified to say what is legal. However I make
backup copies of all of my CDs. Nobody but me knows about it, so there is no
problem. Actually I make backup copies of very few protected CDs, because I
seldom buy that kind of software anymore. My ordinary CD copy software from
Adaptec/Roxio usually works OK. But when needed I use CDClone from Elaborate
Bytes which I downloaded quite awhile ago, when it was still freeware. I'm not
