Ok. I'm going to ask you to do the same steps that I asked Kurt to do. 1) Set up a position with two kings and two pawns. 2) Open the "Coach" window and go to the Advice Tab. For every move in the list, there should be either a "Black Mates in...", "White Mates in..." or "Game is Drawn". If you see this, then the EGDBs are working properly. 3) If so, and just to verify, open the Thinking Lines window. Set the two players in the game to both be Chessmaster and make sure that the time control is not Infinite. Once you press OK, the Chessmaster personalities should play the game to its conclusion via EGDBs and very quickly, and you will see the EGDB output in the Thinking Lines window. >Now, I'm curious. Basically, all files and/or folders that can be modified MUST be in a subfolder of the "My Documents" folder, and all Program Files should obviously be (by default) in a subfolder of the "Program Files" folder. This is why, no matter what you specify as the target folder of the installation, all of the subfolders that used to be below the CM9000 folder are now below the "My Documents" folder. As a user, I agree that it can be a pain until you get used to it. As a developer, I see the logic in it. jm
