The testers were _not_ in on the scam. They were taken in themselves. And those that were taken in were highly disappointed after it was discovered that both of those programs were simply "crafty" and nothing new. It isn't hard to trick a tester, if all they are doing is playing games. If they snoop into the executable, which is unlikely for a tester, they might uncover the clues for "Le Petite and that group." But it wasn't easy and if you assume the best in people, you would probably not take the time to do so. I have no idea whether ruffian is new or not. Whether it is a copy of an amateur program or not. Whether it is a copy of a commercial program or not. However, I doubt that the "results" are being faked, myself. Too many questions, too few answers. Time will eventually reveal all... to those that are patient enough.
