One thing for sure, Fritz code >is not included in Ruffian. I do not say that Fritz's code is included in Ruffian but I do not see a way to be sure that Fritz's code is not included. It is possible that the programmer of ruffian got the source code of Fritz by some way(it does not mean that he stole it and maybe he got it for helping the programmer of Fritz with new ideas). There are a lot of other theories but it is better if I think more about movei and not about Ruffian(I have some problems about reading the winboard command that I discuss in the winboard forum see http://www.f11.parsimony.net/forum16635/messages/35222.htm).
