I don't follow you here. Well is the engine not compatible with Winboard but the
GUI that it comes with is a big plus for Winboard engines.
Their implementation is just as good as CA and CM and in addition they have a
method to play engine-engine matches (between winboard-engines if you like) that
is better than the normal autoplayer (this is also included for interfaceing
with other gui).

If this isn't enough you don't need to buy two gui for doing these matches. You
are allowed to install the gui on both PC's as long as you are the user of both
(I only know CP's license here).
