Download the latest engineext (21sep2002 - version 5.0.0.11) from Lokasoft

Use the wizard to set up Ruffian (use inboard II not UCI)

You should be fine - Ruffian will use the settings in its ruffian.cfg file eg:

RESIGN 700
KEEP_HASH 1
HASH 128M
EGTB_HASH_SIZE 16M
LOGFNAME ""
BOOK "ruffian.bok"
TB_PATH "../tb"
