Not sure how either of you have it setup but here is what I have and it runs
fine on both my pc's.

Unzip ruffian-1.0.0.zip to a folder say c:\program files\chessbase\engines this
will create a folder ruffian. Open Hiarcs 8 or Fritz 7 click engine---create UCI
engine----click browse locate c:\program files\chessbase\engines\ruffian and
double click on ruffian.exe this will create Ruffian 1.0.0.uci in your engine
folder.

You can still always try using Wb2Uci.exe but since Ruffian is already UCI
what's the point?. Besides it don't work as well there is a certain amount of
lag but this way it does seem to work ok on the CB server and ponder correctly.
So if you were playing games with reasonable time controls it may be good.
Whereas the earlier method will not play on the CB server and will not ponder
correctly.

Sarah.
