Well started to play around a bit with it--not as much as I would like to. The first thing I noticed is it is fast....something like 800-1,000 knps on my duron 1.2 ghz in some positions. I am running a match against Deep Fritz 7 atm and will report the results. Time control is fast blitz (3 0) but I will aim for quanity over quality for this run. At the current time Deep Fritz leads 2-1, but the games seem to be sharp and Ruffian has a good position with white in the current game. Is this a clone? Too soon for me to judge. But on the whole, due to the bugs being reported I tend to think its orginal OR a very heavily modified open source program -- too the point where its almost orginal.
