1)I am not sure if they use it in K+R vs K
2)I suspect that not every use of null move in K+R vs K is going to lead to a
draw.

Null move pruning means pruning position with no threat and if the position when
the side with the king is in zunzwang are positions when there is a threat then
it means that they are not going to prune them.
