When I run my chess program, I have xboard somewhere in my path, but my program is in the *current* directory. >I would like to use xboard to play games on fics or between engines. >Would like to use it like winboard. > This is my shell script for connecting to fics (this is for a human to play, not a program): #!/usr/bin/csh xboard -size Small -ics -icshost 64.71.131.140 -icsinput \ -animateMoving False -ncp -sgf fics.pgn -colorizeMessages True \ -autoflag -moves -showCoords True -icshelper timeseal \ -popupExitMessage False You will need to download timeseal, but I'm afraid I can't remember where it is. Try searching on google. If you can't find it, or you don't want to use it, try the above script without the "-icshelper timeseal" bit. Andrew
