[ ] But look at this move! Even though 'X' lost to 'Y', 'X' plays better chess
[ ] 'X' lost to 'Y' 4 times in a row and then 'Y' lost to 'X' 5 times! It's
rigged!
[ ] Program 'Y' needs at least 11 CPU's
[ ] The author wasn't present, and so the results are doubtful
[ ] The author was present, and this conflict of interest makes the results
doubtful
[ ] Program 'Y' was clearly using the book of program 'Z' and therefore cheated
[ ] I had bugs in my opening book, otherwise my engine would have won.
[ ] I had a bug in my evaluation, otherwise my engine would have won.
[ ] I had a bug in my EGTB's, otherwise my engine would have won.
[ ] I had a bug in my hash table, otherwise my engine would have won.
[ ] Program 'Y' won in the past. How can 'X' have won it? It must be wrong

Upon further reflection, I am sure that the excuses are uncountable. The only
question is the cardinality of the infinity.
